Snowflake-shaped Family Crest Kimono With Sculpture "LOVE" By Robert Indiana

Kimono's rule of patterns and motif is usually dependent on season, but snowflake-shaped family crest called 'Yukiwa' is good all year round because it is one of lucky motif. However I love to wear this kimono in winter. This blue kimono seems like a beautiful sky after snowstorm, and I feel like this big snowflake-shaped family crest pattern is radiant in that sky. People say a snowflake-shaped family crest's shape is a variation of a hexagon which is the strongest in the natural world. In addition, the ring is partially missing a little, and that means it's humble. After I knew them, I love snowflake-shaped family crest. I took today's photo two days before Valentine's Day. I was looking forward to meet a nice man in front of a big red sculpture "LOVE" by Robert Indiana in Shinjuku in Tokyo. Unfortunately the miracle didn't happen... Anyway I found a lovely video on YouTube, that is Andy Warhol's video,"Eat", and Robert Indiana was eating mushrooms for about 40 minutes in that video.
雪輪は吉祥文様ですので季節を問わず用いることができますが、この着物は冬が一番似合うと思うのです。青い着物に真っ白な大きな雪輪の文様は、吹雪の翌日の真っ青な空と、眩しい雪景色のコントラストを思い出させます。雪輪は、自然界では最強と言われる六角形の変形であり、丸が少し欠けているところが謙虚さを表していると知ってから、雪輪が大好きになりました。この日は、バレンタインデーの２日前でしたので、ロバート・インディアナさんの作品の新宿の真っ赤なLOVEの前で誰か素敵な人に会えるかなって思いながら立ってみましたが残念ながら奇跡は起こりませんでした。ロバート・インディアナさんは、ウォーホル映画『Eat』でマッシュルームを約４０分間食べている姿もLOVEそのもので、すごく優しそうな方です。

There are some banners for Tokyo Olympic 2020 around Tokyo Metropolitan Government Tower, so I often chose this obi (Kimono belt) painted Athens olympic 2004 when I go to Shinjuku. Then I could have a nice chat with new people. On another note, this leopard bag from Kate Spade has a modular design, so I can change between four patterns. It was the first time that I styled this kimono with a leopard cover. Leopard pattern feels strong, so I didn't use lots of colors. I really love today's outfit! I painted three fashion illustrations of mixing and mutching of this kimono, and you can see them here! I haven't yet written in English on the website, but I'll do it because I would love to tell you about more kimonos.
