The Saita Museum And Kimono Fashion Illustrations

Hello everyone! How are you? It is last-autumn in Tokyo, so there are beautiful leaves on the ground in The Saita Museum near my home. This magazine in the first picture is Nanaoh kimono magazine, and there are my kimono fashion illustrations in the magazine. Today I will share Japanese style with you!

みなさま、こんにちは。12月なのにまだ秋です。本日は紅葉がきれいな齋田記念館と、優しい気持ちになれる着物のファッションイラストをお届けしますね。発売中の七緒で半衿について寄稿させていただきました。半衿のおしゃれも楽しみながら徒歩１０分の齋田記念館へお出かけししてきました。

It used to be difficult to style with a kimono's collar except for white one for me, but now I can do it because I learned history of kimono-collars. I found the best cloth printed pattern in my closet as a kimono-collar . The cloth is a piece of one of my dresses which I can't wear because it is small for me now. You can see the dress here. Today's kimono outfit was inspired by combination of a printed scarf and a jacket. Anyway, The museum has held the wonderful exhibition about lovely creature and plants in the Edo period (1603-1868). I can't take a picture inside the museum, so please imagine the exhibiton from the poster. Fortuneately, it takes me only 10 minutes on foot from my home to the museum. Now many people can't go out or travel easily, but we can have a fantastic time around each other if we keep our eyes open. I am looking forward to seeing it on your blog, SNS, or comment!

10月の中旬に、七緒の編集長さんと半衿の取材で、半衿の世界に丸一日どっぷりつかりました。難しかった半衿のおしゃれのコツをやっとつかめて嬉しいです。市販の半衿には好みのものがなかったので、小さくて着れなくなったワンピースの生地を使いました。そのワンピースをきた懐かしい画像はこちらです。ずっと、白い半衿をあまり見せない着付けが好きでしたが、これからは半衿をたっぷり見せるコーディネイトもできるようになったのでおしゃれの幅が広がりそうです。ジャケットにスカーフを合わせる感覚で組み合わせるとうまくいきました。家から徒歩１０分の齋田記念館では「齋田雲岱の博物図譜~楽しい江戸の生きもの図鑑~」が開催中。展覧会のポスターを眺めているだけでも、なんだか心が豊かになってきますでしょ。遠くへお出かけが難しいときですので、みなさまもぜひ、近所の秘密の素敵なスポットでいつもりアンテナの感度を高くして、ドキドキすることを探してみてくださいね。それでは次回もお楽しみに♡
