A Fascinating Scarf From HeyFungi in Barselona

Hello everybody! How was your holiday? I had a lovely time with my family for a few days and watched Emily In Paris 2 on Netflix! I had posted about them on my Instagram, but this blog had been stopped for a month. Time flies!! Today, I am going to post about this fascinating scarf from HeyFungi in Barselona!!

I love Fungi's illustrations on the scarf! I posted about him here. His blog, "Hey Fungi!" is one of my favorite blogs, and I knew that his shop opened on Etsy last month! After order this beautiful scarf, we messaged about my address for a few days. Then, the scarf arrived from Barcelona to Tokyo for about two weeks! First, I was so excited his beautiful package, and there were the beautiful scarf, a lovely message card, a gift sticker, and a washing manual card written "Take Care Of Me". That is so cute!!

When the light is through the thin silk, Fungi's illustration printed on it are brilliant! That looks like jewelry. This time, I showed this lovely sun, and I am thinking about which illustration to show next time. A wider variety of my basic outfits with the scarf are so exciting. I also love to see classic fashion photobooks and movies to know how to wear a scarf. Fabulous sisters, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis and Lee Radziwill's photo books always inspire me, and Grace Kelly's movies teach elegant, classic style. Lastly, I am going to write about a cafe, GARB Tokyo where I had a latte. It was very crowded because it is famous cafe. In winter, we can sit on Kotatsu table! The kotatsu is a table with an electric heater underneath and a heavy blanket on top to trap the warmth. I hope you will have a lovely day and look forward to seeing next post!

  5. Oh I love that scarf, it's so pretty! It's great that Pablo has opened an Etsy store - he is wonderful blogger! I like that scarf very much and you wear it well but sadly when you include shipping it is a very expensive piece for me to buy, so I will just admire it on you :)

Hope that your week is going well :) It's a relaxing day here as it's a public holiday :) We spent the morning at the playground.

  6. Oooh Akiko,

I really wanted to check this blog post with all my attention and I can tell you that I am over the moon :) It makes me so happy to see that this illustrated scarf is now in Tokyo and that it is part of your valuable accessories and that you are taking it to great places in a fantastic fashion style :)

I actually liked your styling, perfect and you made an interesting contrast with the blue color of the scarf. I also loved the fact that you matched with stripes and that found some interesting inspiration in these amazing characters... I am sure Jackie O and Grace Kelly have a lot of outfits with silk scarfs. Maybe you can check Hitchcock movies to get more inspiration ;)

Once again thanks for your meaningful and constant support!
