Spring Outfits For The Tokyo Metropolitan Teien Art Museum
Hi everyone! I hope you are having lovely day! It has been a while since I posted last month because Goro has been sick... My son is also taking care of Goro, so I could write today's article. I will show you one of my favorite outfits for going to a beautiful place this spring!
You might remember that I posted about the Tokyo Metropolitan Teien Art Museum last summer here. I went there last month again because I was interested in The Mode Surreal Exhibition. This time, they told us "Don't take photos without chapter 9 place, so I hope you will feel the atmosphere here and here. They curated from different fashion brands in different eras inspired by surrealism for each room. For example, Schiaparelli, Vivienne Westwood, Maison Margiaela, Zaha Hadid, Noritaka Tatehana, and so on. There was a punk tee from Seditionaries in the 70s, too. It was so familiar because I saw same design items and reproducts every day about 30 years ago when I worked at Vivienne Westwood Tokyo shop. I felt like surreal is freedom, but that punk tee looked like that it was locked in the frame. After seeing the exhibition, I had tea time at the museum cafe! Lastly, I talk you about my outfit. All of items are not new items. A combination of beautiful blouse with a little gorgeous sleeves and a little wide pants are trendy and chic, right? I love styling black and white items with pastel color pants. I have some different white bags, so I drew the white mini bag from Prada! Enjoy your spring outfit, too!!
Thanks for your sharing:)

Hello Akiko, I was so happy to see that there is a new blog post on your website!
ReplyDeleteI took a look of this place and outfit through your Instagram stories, I actually loved to see many pieces of talented designers and now I would like to take a flight to Tokyo to see the whole exhibition! By the way I didn't know that you had the chance to work at the Vivienne Westwood store, that's amazing! I also spot some things by McQueen in the photos :) And Schiaparelli too, one of my favorite brands in the current scenario!
