How To Turn An Old Dress Into A New Dress For An Exhibition

Hello everyone! It is Obon hloiday in Japan. It is the Lantern Festival holidays when we pray for the deceased. I can't' go home, so I went the Isamu Noguchi exhibition. He is my hero, so I looked for a dress which is suitable for the exhibition on some online shops. I found two black dresses, but I thought I made a new one like them from clothes in my closet. It was a wonderful idea!

The Isamu Noguchi: Ways of Discovery exhibition is really beautiful! I am so happy yo see an installation of 150 “Akari” lamps and Noguchi’s Mure stone sculptures. I felt minimal, chic, lovely and intense atmosphere around his works. After the exhibition, I took photos how making the black dress! Additionally, I drew about it at home. How go you feel about Isamu Noguchi? Have you seen his sculptures?

As usual you surprise me with your creatinons and with your strollings around the city, this place looks impressive and full of contemporary art, but first time I hear about Isamu Noguchi, but the creations displayed here are breathtaking!

On the other side and talking about the dress, what a magnificent purchase! I would love to own a piece by Comme des garçons one day in the future, they look so versatile and the idea of turning your clothes into something new honestly sounds amazing, and you also matched it with the right accessories :) Loved your illustration and how to turn out your dress into something new!
